Dr. Jairo Sousa

Dr. Jairo Sousa holds Master's and Doctorate degrees in Instrumental Conducting (orchestra) from the University of Oklahoma.

During his training at the University of Oklahoma in 1995-2001, Dr. Sousa led the orchestra in numerous concerts, recitals, and staged works, including musicals, the opera the Barber of Seville, and the Nutcracker Ballet.

​

Dr. Sousa also served as the Associate Orchestra Director at First Baptist Church Norman for several years while in Oklahoma.

​

Dr. Sousa is currently the director of choirs and orchestras and the Associate Director of Worship Arts at Valley Community Baptist Church in Avon, Ct, USA.
